Scenic View Park

  • Alexandria Bay's hidden gem is Scenic View Park.
  • To the left of the River Hospital, you will see the pavilion.  Walk through the pavilion and down past the playground to the beach area.
  • Walk the bridge to Casino Island
  • Every Wednesday evening at 7pm enjoy free Live Performances  - Summer Concert Series - Don't forget to bring a chair!


Olympic Size pool open to the public in Keewaydine State Park

Keewaydin State Park

  • Olympic-sized swimming pool that's free with your paid day-use pass.  The pool is open from late June through Labor Day, and there's a  lifeguard on duty during operating hours. 
  • Geocaching -  You'll need your GPS device or smartphone to participate in this  family-friendly scavenger hunting game while visiting Keewaydin State  Park and don't forget to bring a family-friendly item to leave  in the container for the next adventurer. 
  •  a convenient boat launch, and the marina is open seasonally for boating  supply needs and boat rentals.  

Wellesley Island State Park

  •  Travel across the Thousand Islands Bridge to Wellesley Island Sate Park
  • Minna Anthony Common Nature Center 
  • 1/4-mile  accessible trail that includes access to picnic tables and the seasonal  butterfly house.
  • In July and August, a 16 passenger Voyageur Canoe  program leaves the docks of the nature center, touring Eel Bay. 
  •  9-hole Wellesley Island State Park Golf Course

  •  Northern Pike, Bass, Walleye or Muskellunge. 
  • Half Day Charters, Full Day Charters, or 
  •  Fish from 8 AM till noon, go ashore to a beautiful island in the middle of the St. Lawrence where you'll enjoy a meal from the catch of the day!
